Eastern European Home Remedies For Anxiety Neurosis

I. In the morning, at noon and in the evening, 20 minutes before meals, take

1 lump of sugar in 20 drops of the following mixture:

20 ml of common valerian tincture;

20 g of hawthorn blossom (Flores Crataegus monogyna) tincture;

15 ml of bitter almonds water;

1 g of camphor powder, and

10 drops of mint oil.

II. Ten minutes after the drops drink 1 cup of 75 g decoction of 100 g each of basil (Ocimum basilicum), honey suckle (Astragalus glycyphyllos), clematis (Clematis vitalba), and heather (Asplenium trichomanis);

– 50 g each of yarrow (Achillea millefolium), motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca), melilot (Melilotus officinalis), lavender (Lavandula vera), linden blossom, Melissa (Melissa officinalis), oregano (Origanum vulgare), and hop cones (Humulus lupulus).

2 tablespoonfuls of this mix, together with a teaspoonful of orange peel are brewed in 500 ml of boiling water. Leave the decoction lid tight overnight. Filter in the morning and drink with honey or sugar, and lemon – as you like it.

III. Two hours after meals take 1 tablespoonful of 500 g of glucose or pure honey, 20 green leaves of stork bill (Pelargonium Rose DM wild) and 20 sweet almond nuts, beaten pulp in a wooden ground, 3 fleshy lemons ground in a mincer together with the peel but without the seeds, and 1 tablespoonful of cinnamon powder.

IV. Ten minutes after this mix drink 1 cup of 75 ml decoction of 5 walnuts, pounded with the shells, add 2 table spoonfuls of parsley roots and oats grains (cleaned in advance) each; boil in 1,500ml of water for 15 minutes, add 1 table spoonful each of pine tips and Iceland moss (Centraria islandica Arh). Boil 15 more minutes, and after it cools, filter through a thin napkin. Drink with honey and lemon.
