Eastern European Home Remedies For Bronchitis – Asthmatic, Spastic and Pediatric

Take 10 medium-sized onions, 15 crushed walnuts (shell included) and 10 quince seeds and boil them in a litre of water until half a litre of the liquid is left. Strain, add 300 g of nebet (crystallized sugar) candy and wait for it to melt. Drink a tablespoon of the mixture before a meal every 1,5-2 hours.

Acute Bronchitis

  1. thyme sprigs – 40 g;
  2. coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) leaves – 40 g;
  3. common marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) root – 40 g;
  4. primrose root – 40 g;
  5. elder flowers – 40 g;
  6. liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) root – 30 g;
  7. common polypody (Polypodium vulgare) root – 20 g.

Chop up the herbs, boil 2 tablespoons of the mixture in half a litre of water for 5 minutes and let it sit for an hour. Sweeten with nebet (crystallized sugar) candy and drink 100 ml 4 times a day.

Chronic Bronchitis

  1. Florentine Iris root – 30 g;
  2. liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) root – 30 g;
  3. common marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) root – 30 g;
  4. coltsfoot (Tussilago farfara) leaves – 30 g;
  5. anise (Pimpinella anisum) seed – 30 g;
  6. sage leaves – 40 g.

  1. pine tips – 100 g;
  2. common sundew (Drosera rotundifolia) stems – 100 g;
  3. flaxseed – 50 g;
  4. marigold (Calendula officinalis) flowers – 50 g;
  5. plantain (Plantago) flowers – 50 g;
  6. mint leaves – 50 g;
  7. horsetail (Equisetum arvense) flowers – 50 g;
  8. Iceland moss (Cetraria islandica) – 30 g;
  9. Jerusalem thorn (Paliurus aculeatus) berries – 30 g;
  10. St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) stems – 40 g;
  11. anise (Pimpinella anisum) seed – 45 g;
  12. primrose root – 30 g.

Cover 2 tablespoons of the herb mixture with half a litre of boiling water and let it sit in a closed container for 2 hours. Drink 100 ml before a meal 4 times a day.

Widened Bronchial Tubes (Bronchiectasis)

  1. horsetail (Equisetum arvense) stems – 60 g;
  2. coriander berries – 60 g;
  3. marigold (Calendula officinalis) stems – 60 g;
  4. thyme stems – 60 g;
  5. anise (Pimpinella anisum) seed – 40 g;
  6. basil stems – 60 g;
  7. white horehound (Marrubium vulgare) stems – 40 g;
  8. lungwort (Pulmonaria officinalis) stems – 30 g;
  9. agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria) stems – 100 g;
  10. common marshmallow (Althaea officinalis) root – 50 g.
