- I. With simple constipation, in the morning, at noon and in the evening, 20 minutes before meals, take 1 lump of sugar with 10 drops decoction of basil (Calamintha officinalis) (leaves): half a bottle is filled with basil leaves and the other half is filled with pure olive oil. Leave the bottle in the sun for 20 days. Or 1 tea spoonful mix оf toasted wheat bran and 1 tea spoonful of honey forming a thick pulp. Ten minutes after either mix drink 1cup of tea made of rose blossom (leaves): brew 1 table spoonful rose blossom in 200 ml of boiling water, leave it lid tight for 20 minutes and filter; drink it with honey. Or brew 1 table spoonful of wheat bran in 200 ml of boiling water, leave it lid tight for 20 minutes and filter. Drink with honey.
- II. With chronic constipation, in the morning, at noon and in the evening, 30 minutes before meals take 1 table spoonful pure olive oil.
Note. If the effect is good, you can drink half of the quantity.
Twenty minutes after that drink one of the decoctions given in point I above. Or better drink 1 cup of warm decoction of yarrow (Achillea millefolium) (blossom), marshmallow (blossom), wild pansy (Viola canina) (leaves), peppermint (leaves and blossom), senna (Folia sennae) (leaves), gentian (Gentiana cruciata) (leaves and blossom) and mallow (Malva sylvestris) (leaves and blossom) 50 г of each. Take 2 table spoonfuls and add 1 table spoonful of linseed and 1 tea spoonful buckthorn bark (from the pharmacy); brew them in 600 ml of boiling water boil lid tight for 10 minutes. When it cools, filter. Drink with honey.
