Symptomatic epilepsy is cured in the following way:
- I. In the morning, at noon and in the evening, 20 minutes before meals, take 1 table spoonful of syrup of Aloe arborescens. Take about ten green leaves about 150 g, remove the thorns, mince the leaves, add woundwort (Betonica officinalis) roots) – 50 g, broadleaf plantain (Plantago maior), thyme (leaves) and leonorus (Leonorus cardiac) (leaves) – 2 table spoonfuls of each, 1 leveled table spoonful of pounded millet, 300 ml of natural red wine and 300 g of pure honey. Boil on low heat in a water bath for 1 hour and when it cools, filter. Keep it in a cold place so that it does not turn sour.
- II. Ten minutes after the syrup, drink 1 small glass of 75 ml of decoction of basil and heather (Asplenium trichomanis) (leaves and blossom) – 100 g each, birch (leaves),white wormwood (Artemisia vulgaris) (leaves and blossom), vervain (Verbena officinalis) (leaves and blossom), St John’s wort (Hypericum perforatum) (leaves and blossom), melilot (Melilotus officinalis), (leaves and blossom), mistletoe (Viscum album) (leaves and fruit), lavender, melissa, peppermint, currant (ribes) (leaves), field horsetail (Equisetum arvense) and hop cones – 50 g of each. Take of this mix 2 table spoonfuls and 1 leveled tea spoonful of valerian (roots) and brew them in 500 ml of boiling water. Boil it for 10 minutes on low heat and when it cools, filter. Drink with honey and lemon.
III. Two hours after meals drink 1 small glass of 75 ml of decoction of Benedictine thorn (Cnicus benefictus) (roots) – 150 g and forest angelica (Angelica archanfelica) roots, twitch (Synodon dactylon) and young rosehips – 100 g of each. Boil 4 table spoonfuls of this mix in 1 l of water on low heat for 30 minutes. Filter immediately. Drink with honey or sugar and lemon.
