The following procedures are indicated for treatment of hemorrhoids. The area around the anus should be treated with a lukewarm solution prepared from 4 drops of calendula infusion (Calendula officinalis) and 3 drops of Basket plant infusion (Callisiafragrans).The area can also be washed with a light Basket plant infusion (Callisiafragrans), prepared from 1 finely chopped Basket plant leaf and 5 cups of boiling water. Let steep for 8 hours, then strain. This infusion can be added to the water when taking a bath. Stay in the bath for 15 minutes.
You can also use internally the Basket plant infusion and alcoholic tincture. Take 1 dessert spoon of the infusion 2 times a day, 40 minutes before eating, for a period of 10 days. The treatment with the alcoholic tincture should be done for a period of 7 days, taking one teaspoonful of the remedy 3 times a day, before meals.
