Kiril Batalski About Baba Vanga

Story told by Kiril Batalski from Izvor village, Radomir province

For more than 10 years I was suffering from an acute allergy. I was getting rashes all over my body, my skin turned red, my eye got swollen, and the itch was unbearable. I visited many different herbal healers – everyone was giving me different recipes. I also visited a couple of the famous dermatologists in the country – but after all those treatments, the results were not even close to satisfactory. I was also hospitalized at the Medical Academy in Sofia where they did a variety of extensive examinations on me.

My last hope remained Baba Vanga. I visited her on October 27th, 1987. She accepted me with the words: – Come in Kiro, I know why you are here. You suffer from an allergy but I will cure you.

– I doubt if you can help me as I visited so many specialists and herbalists, and tried so many treatments… –  I said with despair.

– I know where have you been – said Baba Vanga and started to list all of the places that I’ve been to as if she was with me the entire time. So she started to explain her remedy.

– Do you know what is a mortar? – Baba Vanga asked

– Yes I know – it is made of wood and is used to crush herbs, salt, black pepper, and other herbs and spices.

– Take 500 g of soy and bake it in the oven. Once it gets a yellow color – take it out, don’t over bake it. Once it cools off, crush it finely in the wooden mortar. Then every morning, drink 1 tspb of the crushed soy mixed in 200 g of water – 1 hour before you eat.

– For how long to drink it? – I asked with curiosity

– After three days, you will get a reaction – your eyes will close, and you won’t be able to see for two days. Don’t be scared from that – just keep drinking the water with the soy until you completely heal.

I did exactly as she said. I drunk the mixture for 3 days. I had an allergic reaction – my eyelids got swollen and my eyes closed. I continued to drink the soy for another 3 days. Just one week of drinking water and soy, my allergy disappeared! Since then I haven’t had any allergic attacks! For me Baba Vanga is a real Saint – she had done a miracle on me. Thanks to her I am in good health now.

Story Analysis

That is a very interesting story – an allergy that was active for 10 years, and to be cured only for 1 week. Is the soy really the miracle ingredient that was not known to all those herbal healers and famous doctors that Kiril had visited? Or it is rather the faith, that Baba Vanga inspired in Kiril that “she will cure him”? Usually those little things, the culmination in life that people search for years is found either in themselves or in very simple and easily accessible things. Those little and simple things that were always missed. What is the most weirdest, is that for the most unsolvable cases the answer is pretty simple. However the path that we all have to walk to reach those answers is long, full with challenges and it requires our patience and faith.

Faith has a great importance in the healing process. When people wake up their faith, then they realize its great power.

A lot can be said about the power of suggestion that radiates from Baba Vanga. Her undisputable authority of thaumaturge, her astonishing capability to strips off the human soul and to reach deep down in their greatest secrets make people to accept her words instantaneously, to trust her and to do exactly what she said – without even thinking or analyzing her advices.

People expect Baba Vanga to give them the extraordinary, the unusual, the paranormal cure – with the God’s help. It is not by chance, why Baba Vanga is the last healing resort for tens of thousands of people, since nothing else through the modern medicine have helped them. And because there were more people that were cured, than those that weren’t – most people believe her from the very beginning.

Scientifically it was claimed that the presence of a strong faith is the first half of the healing process. Faith activates certain brain centers, calms the nervous system, mobilizes the whole organism to fight the disease it triggers positive subconscious impulses that strengthen the will to live.

In some countries around the world such as England and Germany, there are special clinics in which all treatments are done on the basis of faith under the close monitoring from doctors. An alternative treatment method that is gaining more and more popularity throughout the world.
