Penka Tzaneva About Baba Vanga

Penka Tzaneva About Baba Vanga

Story by Penka Tzaneva from Silistra

I visited Baba Vanga in 1969. My sister was diagnosed with leukemia and passed away…I didn’t have my own children, so I took my sister’s – boy and a girl and raised them.

Once I entered the house of Baba Vanga – she stood up from her bed and came to hug me. Then she said:

– You are a very good person – but you are misfortunate. Tell me what’s the name of your first husband?

– Nikolay – I said

– What about the second one?

– Orhan

– Well, Orhan, Hasan, it doesn’t matter who he is, you don’t have luck with men. You are man and woman – this will be your life from now on. You have a “peppery” mouth, but your heart is made of gold. You don’t, and you don’t have luck.

I asked Baba Vanga to tell me something about two of my colleagues as I promised them that I’ll ask her once I come. At first she firmly refused, but then she inclined and said: – I see that they paid you the trip to Petrich – alright I’ll tell you what I see about them.

Everything that she said about my colleagues came true. One of them adopted a child, the other one was suffering from chronic migraines, and healed through having regular baths in Black Sea.

When I left Baba Vanga’s house, I just recalled that I forgot to ask whether I will work at the same place where I was working at the moment. I came back, but the doorman didn’t allow me to come in again. I had to lie to him and said that I forgot to take the name of the medicine that Baba Vanga prescribed me. In this moment Baba Vanga opened the door and shouted: – Don’t lie! Go home – you will work at the same place and you will retire there as well. For your husband Orhan – there is no cure.

Years have passed, and amazingly Baba Vanga was correct with all of her predictions.

I was born in a mountain village near the town of Tryavna. My family was very poor – we were three sisters and one brother. Since I was little, I started to work as a shepherd, to baby sit, and also as a dishwasher. When I was 16, I fell down in one canal, and broke few vertebrae on my spinal column. I was immobilized for 2 years being placed in a plaster. One night in my dream I saw Jesus Christ – he came over my bed all wearing white clothes and told me: – If you believe in me, you will heal!

For six months I was walking with a person supporting me, but I fully recovered. I am a woman with strong spirit, ambitious, but without luck in my family – just like Baba Vanga said. I managed to raise and educate my sister’s children, and now they both have two children. Unfortunately I couldn’t have a child of my own, besides doctors were not allowing me to give birth considering my severe trauma on my spinal column.

My husband was from Silistra with Turkish origin. He was very good and intelligent man. Six months after my sister passed away, my husband developed epilepsy. Hospitals again in my life – Ruse, Varna, Sofia…He eventually started to drink as well. I can’t describe you the fear that I was living with for whole 17 years. He wasn’t having epileptic attacks every day, but when they happened, he blacked out suddenly whenever it catches him. One day he fainted and he never woke up again.

This is why Baba Vanga was telling me that I am the man and the woman in my family – I never had any man’s support in my life. My whole life was like that – in loneliness full with challenges.

I retired at the same place that I was working for many years – Mototechnics. Later I took a loan pledging my apartment, and opened up a small store for auto parts. I got tired of life – I’m 75 now. At the same time I am thankful to God that it gave me strength an health to reach this age. The strong faith that God is protecting me was my support throughout all those years of suffering and loneliness.

During my entire life I believed that doing good to other people will make me happy. And it is true – I helped many families to not get divorced by using my life scenario as a perfect example. People even today have great respect for me – visit my place over the holidays, they bring me gifts as if I am their Godmother. I am glad that my friends are happy, and at the same time I feel sad that I am alone and there is no one to help me.

Not to mention how many children I helped people to raise…God took me the opportunity away to have my own child, but it gave me the mother’s happiness to love all other children.

Baba Vanga predicted my past and future with superb accuracy. She was a phenomenon out of this world. Some people despite her as she was very upfront and direct, and was always telling the truth in people’s eyes. Once she sensed the bad people – she never accepted them at her house.

I am greatly thankful about all of her warnings and advices for my life. She helped me to prepare well in advance that I have to carry my heavy cross for my entire life and to be ready for all of the punches that my destiny will throw at me.
